There have been a number of these hybrid one-off cards hitting the market including an ingenious little Lexar nubbin that was essentially a USB plug and not much else. All of these, thus far, haven’t rocketed out of the gate. We just don’t need another teeny card to loose in our digestive tracts.
Enter the MMC-USB card, the bastard child of an unholy union between a popular storage medium and a popular data transfer standard. The result? This tiny card with a USB dongle at one end and a normal sized MMC card part at the other end. We couldn’t get a picture of this thing flipped, to see its interface organs, but we suspect it’s pretty gross. Plus it’s made by Lenovo aka IBM aka Lenovo.
