T3 is reporting that the .mobi domain will be available next year as a dedicated domain for mobile sites. While this is all well and good, couldn't they have made it .mo? .mb? Most phone browsers will still be using keypads to type in their domains. Now, instead of hitting the keypad 7 times—com— they have to hit it 9 times—mobi. There's a reason SOS isn't PSOSOMG.
