In a previous life I played with quite a few of these MPC laptops. They come in at around $1,200 and are pretty fully-featured. Plus, the new X3100 is blue as the deepest ocean. Aimed mainly at the gov/edu markets, this Centrino machine has a biometric lock and smart card reader.
