The 7710, the bastard cousin on the too-cool-for-school 7700, is circulating and it seems that it has quite a bit of power but ends up being too much of everything. Designed as a PDA-alike phone, the 7710 has a touch screen, runs Series 90 and is really heavy.
One of the real sticking points with a lot of Symbian and other “off-brand” PDA-phones—like the SE P900s and P910s, for example—has been this feeling of cramped, odd UI on initial testing. That’s why it’s nice that the folks at Mobileburn took a little time and gave this thing a fair shake. These are the PDAs of the future, no doubt about it, but we just have to wrap our heads around their possible uses.
