Olympus Evolt E-300 Camera Reviewed (Verdict: Comfortable)

Aimed at mid-level photo fanatics, the Evolt E-300 isn’t horribly difficult to use and sits squarely between the average Joe and Joe Prosumer markets. At about $999, this 8-megapixel SLR-style camera has some cool features for the cash.

One interesting addition is the Supersonic Wave Filter which knocks dust off the CCD before shooting. The Evolt comes with one 4-45mm f3.5-5.6 zoom lens and compares favorably to the Rebel and Nikon’s D70.
