Jamie Lee Curtis finally got her first Oscar nomination—and won—last year as part of the Everything Everywhere All at Once steamroller. But the low-budget film that provided her big-screen debut (and is universally considered one of the scariest and most influential horror films of all time) was way, way too far out of Oscar’s comfort zone to get any attention, despite raking in tremendous box-office returns.
