Our friends in beautiful Barcelona—pronounced “Barrthsellona” with a trill and a sassy Gaudi wink—sent us this grainy image of a PalmOne GPS cradle. The receiver connects to Tungsten E2 handheld and includes a speaker for voice navigation. It’s based on the SiRF SiRFstar III GPS chipset.
Historically, GPS navigation with PDAs has been a messy, cable-infested ordeal. Stuff like this and the recent solar powered Bluetooth units promises to change that.
