Not sure what that little asterisks is doing in there, but this entry-level SLR looks like a nice competitor for the Rebel. 2.5-inch LCD, 6.1-megapixels, and removable lenses make very happy. Pentax has used a ten-layer circuit board to squeeze all kinds of power inside and the camera accepts the SD, a strange move away from the standard CF cards so popular in larger cameras. It also has that strange Terminator-esque laser auto focus/metering.
