More news in the same vein as the iTunes phone—Skype CEO Niklas Zennstrom announced plans to move Skype onto mobile handsets. This is very interesting brinksmanship because a free—or low cost—high-quality VOIP system on smartphones would be a massive threat to standard cell providers.
Zennstrom was vague, saying that the new mobile version may appear on embedded Linux, Windows Smartphone, or Symbian.
