Sony has created a rollable 79dpi display using standard LCD pieces. The screen uses the same transistors found in standard LCDs but is specially treated to allow the substrate of circuits to bend without snapping.
Don’t plan on rolling your own big LCD doobage, because it won’t be available until 2010.
