Sony has released their Shuffle competition with the NW-E507. This baby packs a ton of features into a tiny 3.3 long device. This is a 1GB model that uses flash memory. One of the highlights is the estimated 50 hour battery life and a quick charge feature of three hours with a three minute charge. Runners rejoice; this device has easy, one-handed controls. There’s a small knob on the end that s manages all basic controls with ease. The integrated FM tuner is also nice.
The NW-E507 is available for $199 and there is also the E505, the 512mb version, available for $149.
