Playing old school games like Ms. Pac-man or Space Invaders is harder than it sounds with a 45 button joystick, I have been writing code all day trying to get the throttle, foot controls, eject button, and even the toaster oven to work with my emulator. Luckily Speedlink has released a simple joystick for those who enjoy an moldy oldie every once and a while.
The Speedlink USB Competition Pro has a stick joystick, two big buttons, two smaller buttons, and even a turbo button. It is sturdy and sticks to a desk really well. It isn t available in the United States yet, but can be shipped from a Euro distributor. Looks like I will be spending my Father s Day getting dominated by my dad in Galaga.
