GameTap is a new PC-based game and content network led by TBS, they of the Sex in the City Rerun (Carrie’s with the Russian now) and the endless movie repetition. It’s an interesting concept, very pre-dotcom bust, where they deliver games, behind-the-scenes stuff, and original content via broadband. They definitely have the brand awareness with the non-techie to pull of something and a lot of folks have broadband, but will this work? Let’s ask ScreamingMedia.com and TheGlobe.com. Oh wait.
