The One I Really Want: Tamagotchi P
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to fully get into why I want the Tamagotchi P. Let’s say there’s a bustling hacker community associated with this particular model that I want to engage with! If only these vintage models weren’t going for $150 a pop.
The Tamagotchi P was the first version of the virtual pet to offer a slot for an attachable pin. Think of it as a precursor to the Tamagotchi Smart and its insertable TamaSma cards. You can find after-market “deco” pieces that unlock additional characters and items.
