Appetites: A convincing take on the the "cookbook of the future," Apetites offers nicely produced video walkthroughs of a good number of dishes. The app download comes with 7; after that you'll have to shell out a buck a pop. $5.
Adult Swim: Adult Swim has a free app that lets you stream full episodes of all your favorite shows (and various clips!). There's also a TV schedule, a dashboard to get all their games (that you have to pay to play) and the iPad version even throws in a music player, a clock, weather and a calculator. Why? Who knows! Free.
DSLR Camera Remote HD: OnOne's Camera Remote app now comes in an iPad-friendly version that makes it easier to make adjustments with a larger UI and higher-resolution viewfinder. You'll need a Nikon or Canon DSLR, a Wi-FI enabled computer and $50.
