It seems the years of prayer and fasting have paid off. Folks are actually dumping movies onto proprietary Sony media and hoping that we’ll buy into it. Universal is entering the fray by offering Dodgeball and Van Helsing, among others, on the PSP’s UMD format.
The real test, as we mentioned before, is if Blu-Ray is accepted by the masses. Until then, look for these UMDs next to the SACDs at your local big box retailer. What, you can’t find SACDs? Something is amiss.
