As a long-time fan of all things sharp and pointy, this is pretty big news. My first pocketknife was a huge Wenger my Dad bought me at a pawn shop—cue violins—so the "Other Swiss Army Knife"-maker has always held a special place in my heart.

Anyway, Wenger will still be around. Victorinox is just helping it along, in that whole create-a-monopoly-to-fight-cheap-Asian-knock-offs kind of way. Good for them.
