Why Saily Ultra Might Be the Last Travel Subscription You Actually Need

Unlimited global data, airport lounge access, NordVPN included, and a coupon code that brings the best plan down to $50.99 a month. Here's why Saily Ultra makes sense for anyone who travels more than twice a year.

Most frequent travelers have the same problem: a phone full of apps that each handle one piece of the puzzle. One for data, one for VPN, one for lounge access, one for airport fast-track. Saily Ultra is an attempt to collapse all of that into a single monthly subscription, and looking at what’s in the plan, it’s a pretty convincing one.

Saily is the eSIM app from the NordVPN team and it launched Ultra back in August 2025 as its premium tier for people who travel regularly and want more than just a data plan. The core of it is an unlimited global data plan covering 121 destinations which handles the basics. What makes it interesting is everything else that comes with it, especially for the kind of traveler who spends more time in airports than they’d like to admit.

The Perks Are the Point

Every Ultra tier includes airport lounge access at selected airports, a monthly fast-track pass that lets you skip the security and check-in lines, and automatic lounge coverage if your flight is delayed by more than two hours without touching your monthly pass.

On the security side, Ultra includes the full Nord Security suite: NordVPN, NordPass for password management, NordLocker for secure cloud storage, and Incogni for personal data removal. For anyone working remotely or connecting to public Wi-Fi in hotels and airports, the same tools that made NordVPN one of the most recognized names in cybersecurity are baked directly into the plan. Ultra subscribers also earn 8% back in Saily credits on every purchase inside the app, compared to the 3% that standard plans offer and get priority access to the support team when something goes wrong at an inconvenient time, which is usually when things go wrong when you travel.

There are three tiers to pick from. Standard runs $29.99 a month and includes 5 GB of high-speed data. Plus is $44.99 with 10 GB. Premium is $59.99 and comes with 30 GB before dropping to unlimited at 1 Mbps, which is the one most regular travelers will want. All three plans cover 121 destinations and include the same travel perks and security tools. The Saily coupon code GIZMODO takes 15% off any of those at checkout which brings the Premium plan down to $50.99 a month.

The subscription renews automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time, which matters for people whose travel schedules aren’t consistent year-round. It also works alongside your regular SIM so your existing number still handles calls and texts while the eSIM takes care of data. For anyone doing international travel more than a few times a year, the math starts to make sense pretty quickly once you add up what lounge access, a VPN subscription, and a decent data plan would each cost separately.
