In short, Make has discovered that a combination of calcium oxide powder and water heats a can of over-priced espresso to 145 degrees in six minutes. Once activated a small container of water drips into a big vat of calcium oxide creating an exothermic chemical reaction in the bottom of the container, heating the canned beverage above.
