    Underground Tokyo Produce Farm

For a couple of weeks in March, I was committed to growing my own hops in the alleyway next to our building, where the tall vines would eventually be able to get a little sunlight, after two or three years of growth. Instead of planting, however, I just bought some more beer.

Next year, inspired by this vegetable farm by Pasona O2 underneath the streets of Tokyo, I will be ripping up the concrete floors and installing my own barley and hops micro-farm. Unless, of course, someone still sells beer next year.
