    @sgodun: Remote pairing FTW

  • So at what time exactly will your servers crash?

  • How will we know if you are actually feeding us coverage of the keynote or just pulling a prank on us?

  • I predict that Steve will unveil the iBoy, Apple's answer to the PSP and DS. Or the iPad, their new tablet.

  • I have already blocked off my work calendar so I can watch your live updates... Do it every time.. It's awesome

"Human interaction has become boring and stale. It's no longer beautiful. It's no longer inspiring. When I touch my wife, it's just functional, and that's tacky. when I hug my kids, it's always the same and nothing about it elevates me to the next spiritual level of aesthetics. I tried shaving them, and I coated my firstborn with aluminum, but none of these really worked, and some people called that last thing murder. Pffft! MURDER! As if Steve Jobs is beholden to your antiquated system of laws. The only law I follow is beauty. BOOM!

In this spirit of neo-adventuresomeness (pause while he considerns that word), I am unveiling the iI! It's a slick tactile, full body wearable touchscreen suit that provides iPhone functionality to the whole human corpus. BOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. Do you yet understand the magnitude of my plans! Have I said this fake bullshit marketing phrase boom enough to you that you feel like all this artificial shit is actually important to you? If not, the Gizmodo crew is standing in a row behind me (minus blakeley) to shout the word BOOOOOOM at you until the meme is as fucking dead as a picture of an actual dead horse wearing a "bitches don't know bout BOOM" t-shirt on 4Chan.

But with this simple, atomic-powered suit I can give renewed interest to those things that used to be my loved ones. Touching my wife, for example: now, when I caress her uninteresting breasts, I can call up my email, I can access work remotely, I can even call up pornographic pictures, which can be zoomed in on by flicking the nipples! I could even call up pictures of my wife, although I don't know why I would do that.

And my children can each store up to 160 gigabytes of movies or music. My youngest is playing the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy on his body right now! I seriously haven't paid this much attention to him EVER! BOOOOM!"

  • oh feka i'm gonna be at working 12 om.

  • Image of Kaiser-Machead Kaiser-Machead at 03:43 PM on 01/14/08 *

@Pope John Peeps II: So, this is basically what's going to happen when SJ becomes the next Howard Hughes?

  • Geez, So sick of microcrap fanboys getting their panties in a bunch every-time there's something mac related on the site. Don't like it... don't read it. Too much of it... go to another tech site... whatever it is Grow a couple, suck it up and be man about it instead of whining like some school girl.

  • Insert TV B-Gone joke here.

FAKE EDIT: Apple you are my overlord, I await your command.

  • Image of Kaiser-Machead Kaiser-Machead at 03:47 PM on 01/14/08 *

@sonburn: How is growing a couple, then sucking it up being like a man? OH oh oh wait, I get it.

  • The reason there is so much mac stuff on this site is because their products are tech-news worthy. If microcrap released more news worthy stuff I'm sure it would make it on here... I say awesome job Giz writers... keep it coming.

  • @Kaiser-Machead:
Heheheh... guess it depends what one is into.

  • @Pope John Peeps II: Funniest comment of the ever.

  • Image of Geisrud Geisrud at 04:13 PM on 01/14/08 *

@Pope John Peeps II: In keeping with the awesome simplicity of the suit, it perhaps should be called simply, "i".

In keeping with despair.com, it is perfect for disaffected college students everywhere.

  • Now, don't go bringing any tv-be-bone products with you! You might get spanked! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Nike had Apple serve them some hot technology for the Nike+, now Apple will use Nike's Air technology to make the first multi-touch shoes (in black or aluminum).

  • Gizmodo must prank this MacWorld or forever have their journalistic integrity questioned.

  • Just remember, splicing Tubgirl into the Keynote presentation is not juvenile; it is a demonstration of your unquestionable integrity.

  • already adding "the Giz are such apple fanboys" to my clipboard. :D

  • I don't think the Gizmodo Guys would mind being spanked by His Steveness:

    "Don't! Stop! Don't! Stop! Don't....Stop...Don't....Stop... Don't stop! Don't stop!"

  • @Pope John Peeps II: WOW! laughing my ass off as we speak. awesome job mate.

  • So, will you folks be turning off the monitors on Steve to demonstrate your "journalistic integrity"...?

  • @Coder4Life:
Fantastic... "I could even call up pictures of my wife, although I don't know why I would do that."

    @Empire: & @exlawyer:
Exactly... I look forward to Gizmodo 'brand' of 'reporting', the 'fun' 'harmless prank' which disrupts the keynote presentation....

  • I'm just praying Apple shares go through the roof again! Come on BIG BUCK! Daddy needs a new car!

  • Hey guys stay away from the remotes and don't get banned this time! ROFL kiddin'! You can summon the Front Row with an Apple Remote and screw the presentation, that would be fun!

  • Hey guys, why don't you shut off Steve's projector during the Keynote?

  • @sumocat: It's fake! He would have said when the MacBooks would be available.

  • beaming tubgirl on steve's screen with one of those microtiny laser projector would be soooooooooo cool! bonus point for pranking during the "one more time" climax.
PS: the old english-fashioned streaking thing is also a darn proof of pulitzer-worthy professionalism

  • This will be quite an interesting keynote with all the MacBook Air rumors and the possible keynote leak.

  • Your going to get the team in big trouble. What if they get banned from future MacWorlds?

  • I put $5 on a FSJ intro, or a CES fake screen shut off.

  • So... I just read a post on Giz that talked about how www.macbookair.com forwards to "http://www.apple.com/?Will+We+see+a+MacBookAir+on+Tuesday?". Within a few minutes, that post was gone. What gives, guys?

  • Image of male roof blower (CFB) male roof blower (CFB) at 06:17 PM on 01/14/08 *

Quite frankly, I'm surprised that there are articles other than Macworld on Giz today. Come on guys, you've let me down. Whatever happened to everything else being just noise before Macworld? Also, I'm surprised NO ONE has made a joke about the Giz guys trying to sabotage the speech with a remote. Anyways, not that it will happen, but I'm wanting a MacMini...or MacMicro with a Blu-Ray drive in it to come out so I can put one in my room. Still not quite to the point where I can put 3000 into a laptop, but a moderately priced MacMini, I could swing that.

  • @Hiphopopotamus: You saw that commercial too, XD.

  • @ceilingFANBOY: sponsor me for PBP, link in profile: "Also, I'm surprised NO ONE has made a joke about the Giz guys trying to sabotage the speech with a remote

I'm assuming this is a joke since about 14 people have made remote/keynote/prank comments already. Including the very first post.

  • Image of macpro2007 macpro2007 at 06:48 PM on 01/14/08 *

goto macbookair.com and see what happens. Look at the address bar and read what it says after you hit enter and then look at what website it brings you to.

  • @Kaegan:

Because Gizmodo realized that the question mark in the URL kinda sorta makes it meaningless. Case in point:

    [nytimes.com]

  • Image of male roof blower (CFB) male roof blower (CFB) at 06:53 PM on 01/14/08 *

@poppy: Wait, you mean someone had made that joke? Damn, I sure have egg-o on my face-o.

    :p

  • Better then fucking with the presentation is if Jobs called them out preemptively and was all like "Hey Giz guys, no shenanigans!"

@Coder4Life: Me too, definitely a good call.

    @wiilink: Go away.

  • @selcouth14
    Okay I'm leaving, meanie. lol

  • to Giz:

    any Monitor-Be-Gone in Macworld?

  • @Dearhaw:

Just to make what I meant clear, it means that anybody could have registered macbookair.com, turne
