And I'm having trouble reading between the lines to deduce exactly which phone and provider you have if the Iphone peddlers are over priced for you, but you still bitch about a windows product. It's a mystery, please enlighten us.

Finally, one of the weakest smartphones will get one of the weakest OS updates. A marriage made in heaven.

I had the blackjack before my iPhone. It can do everything the iPhone can do and more, just not nearly as elegantly. Don't be hating on the Blackjack or Windows mobile for that matter. It's a platform not designed for amateurs, and when amateurs try to use it, they complain and reveal their ignorance.

I'm using the BJ now, and as far as features, it kicks the iPhone's ass. I love having 3G and using ICS to connect to the internet to browse and play games.

I'm very happy with my Blackjack. It does all the things I need it to, like keeping appointments, playing music, and saving docs. I don't know what kind of features your better smartphones are expected to run. I must just be a luddite.

I still think the Hybrid ROM will be better!! =-]

Find a friend who still runs XP. I'm not trying to be glib; I think that after THIS long of waiting for the upgrade, chances are slim they're going to fix it to support Vista.

I don't know what to make of this, but I ran into a snag trying to install the update. I called Samsung to troubleshoot, and the rep told me that although the update was available for download on Samsung's website, there was some problem with a patch (he wouldn't elaborate), and I should try again in a few days. Anybody able to install properly?

First, I called for the i607 Blackjack recall to get a new handset, then I upgraded the shiny new handset to Windows Mobile 6. New phone, new OS, new features. Can't complain right now.

Had no issues whaen I upgraded my two phones here. Directions on the site were easy to follow and it worked the first time for both of them. Luckily my girls CPU was still running XP. I did though snyc with mine first, did the upgrade on theirs, and then re-sync'd it back to mine.
