The internet is aflame today with rumors that all versions of the 360 will get a €50 ($76) price cut in Europe by March 14th—which would make the Arcade system cheaper than the Wii in the UK. With any luck this could be a sign of things to come in the US. [GamesIndustry.biz via Kotaku]

That would definately push me to get one.
Could this be the holy grail price 199/299/399 we've been waiting for? Will the PS3 respond with a 299/399 price? Will the Wii bring its price down to 199 in response to all this to avoid being a middle priced console? Find out next time on DRAGONBALL Z!
I have been wanting a 360 for a while. My room mate has one and my girlfriend bought me a year of Live! Gold membership.... now if only they could bring down those prices to make me buy a Pro :D
they'll be so cheap you'll want to pick up 2 or 3! actually, i recommend you pick up 2 or 3. it's best to always have a 6 month supply.
@daftrok: Thats why I always hated Dragon Ball Z.
@madcoweater:
You wash your filthy mouth!
Considering that the both the euro and the pound are doing so well against the dollar, it is highly likely that the USD price cut will take a little longer. After all, Microsoft is paid in USD, so a price cut on euros would not be as hard to swallow as a price cut in dollars.
I swallowed three dimes once, but never a whole dollar, and I don't even know what a "euro" tastes like.
Don't they do this to match the euro to the falling (worth less / worthless) dollar?
wake me up when Canada gets price cuts.
...and when i get a job...
:/
@daftrok: Haha, funny!!! While I was reading it I was imagining that narrators voice, then it said that!! LMAO!!
I wonder if PS3 will follow? i'm planning on buying PS3 tomorrow....should i wait? hmmmmnnnnnn
@krokus: hahah yeah. That way when each breaks youll have the replacements in place already. Genius idea.
@essentis: you could play the waiting game but either way your going to kick yourself over any product about 6 months down the road when you see how much cheaper it is. I suggest buying one if you really want it.
