Yes, it has a subwoofer, but according to the logic of the immortal Mark Wilson, it would lack bass if it didn't.

are there any iphone certified docks out yet? you know, with gsm shielding...
At what point in time will iPod docks no longer be considered tech news worthy? I kind of thought it was somewhere back in early 2007. I guess I was wrong.
