My local movie review actually gave it 4 1/2 stars and they usually slam any movie that doesn't try to induce uncontrollable weeping.

I don't understand... Iron Man was released here (Argentina) yesterday (April 30th) at 10AM... This may be a screwed up country but every once in a while we get an earlier release date than you guys!

The weirdest thing just happened. I refreshed Giz and when the Iron Man headline showed up, Iron Man started playing on my ipod.
Weird stuff!

So the rumors are true...they DID make the trailer into a full-length film! suh-WEET!

I wish everyone would say that it sucked, so I wouldn't be let down. With all of the hand-jobs that movie's gotten from everyone, there's no way it can live up to the hype, no matter how good it is. (and yes, I realize that it's going to be good)

Conversely, everyone ripped how horrible Water World was... After I saw it, I kind of liked it, since it wasn't that bad. It stunk like dog shit, but everyone had me expecting a pig farm. In case you don't know, dog shit smells like roses compared to a pig farm (The worst smell you can imagine. I went to U of Illinois, and there's a pig farm miles south of campus - on a hot summer day, miles away, it smelled about as fresh as Rosie O'Donnell's g-string after a marathon)

What's all this rumor stuff I hear that Nick Fury wasn't in the pre-release screenings, but he does have a scene in the actual film being released tonight?

For some strange reason, as I watched that clip, I couldn't help but think of the fact that those robotic arms assembling that suit around him could be really really painful if he happened to move while they were trying to clamp those pieces together. ...much worse than getting caught in your zipper.

Can't wait to see the movie though!

Iron Man is going to be awesome, no doubt, but has nobody seen the Starcraft 2 trailer? The marine building sequence? I'm not saying this is a rip off.... but having seen the sc2 trailer this clip wasn't quite as exciting as i'd hoped.

I saw a private screening of this on monday. it was really good. nothing was overdone. the action, the humor, the story.. its all just right. and i hate all these comic-book-to-big-screen ports. see it

HAHAHA OMG the first show in SA was at 9:30 AM on the 1st and I think our timezone is like nearly 6 hours before you so we go to see the movie nearly 17 hours before you could! OUCHIES haha
