    Were Gadgets More Reliable 30 Years Ago?

    As we pointed out in our call for a revolution against beta culture—they don't make em' like they used to. But is that really true in your opinion? Were gadgets more reliable 30 years ago then they are today?

    Gizmodo '79 is a week-long celebration of gadgets and geekdom 30 years ago, as the analog age gave way to the digital, and most of our favorite toys were just being born.
