Part of me is appalled that this game costs $12, but the other part can't stop exclaiming "Oooh! Pretty flowers! Pretty colors!" Named Pixel Flowers 2010, it's fair to say no shooting/tactical-gameplay's needed—instead, you grow a trippy garden.
The reason it's so trippy is thanks to the music, which was composed by Jacopo Baboni Schilingi and matches the flowers you grow (or kill) in your virtual garden. It's got insane colors and graphics, and could numb you for hours much in the same way Rez or Geometry Wars used to. While we're filing it under the "gaming" category thanks to the nature of having to grow and tend for your garden, it's much more of a ambient stress-buster than anything else. [iTunes via Recombu]
