Symbian: "Hey Google, We Sell 300,000 Phones Every Day"S

Symbian has unzipped its trousers and flopped out 100,000 more daily activated phones than what Google showed off the other day.

The other open-source platform has quoted analyst company Canalys' records, showing that 300,000 Symbian phones were sold daily in the second quarter of 2010, 50 per cent more than what Eric Schmidt claimed Android was selling in the same period.

It always boils back down to the quality vs quantity debate, doesn't it? [Symbian via SoftPedia via TechRadar]
