The distraught looking gentleman above was part of a Navy experiment that subjected individuals to intense wind speeds of up to 300 miles per hour. At least they were courteous enough to provide goggles.
This experimental scene, straddling the line between adorableness and torture, aimed to see what would happen to cats if they hung upside down for extended periods. There is no followup image in the gallery, but we are guessing the results were not pleasant.
