So this is something: according to one of Business Insider’s sources, Barack Obama watched the entire raid of Osama Bin Laden’s compound live via a helmet cam feed. Badass.
Helmet cam feeds of military ops have actually become fairly standard practice these days; as The Atlantic points out, videos of live combat footage like the one above (unrelated to the Bin Laden raid) have become a popular YouTube subgenre. It makes sense, then, that at least one member of SEAL Team 6 would have been streaming back to the mothership.
