Star Wars fans are intense. Some collect thousands of figurines, others recreate memorable battles with Legos, and one even built a giant replica of R2D2.

Built by Darth Len, the R2D2 replica stands eight feet tall and is made of cardboard boxes ( 4 refrigerator, 5 air conditioner and 3 dryer boxes to be exact). In true geek fashion, it’s held together by aluminum tape, duct tape and glue. From start to finish, the entire project took him 50 hours to build. It’s big, geeky and gorgeous.
