Apple Blocks Galaxy Tab 10.1 Sales in the Whole EUS

Apple's been granted a preliminary injunction to stop sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 across the entire European Union on the basis of patent infringement. The ban excludes the Netherlands, where Apple has a separate lawsuit pending due to differences in patent law.

Samsung and Apple have been entangled in their lawyered-up nerd fight since April, when Apple sued Samsung for copying the iPhone and iPad with its handsets and tablets. Samsung countersued, but the back-and-forth in the following months saw Cupertino strike all the heaviest blows.

Samsung has already been barred from selling its tablet in Australia, where it lost a similar case against Apple. [Foss Patents]
