Report: When Lumia Hits the US, It'll Be an LTE Spitfire

We've got a bit of Lumia lust around here. It's the slickest Windows Phone hardware there is, by a long shot. And We. Can't. Buy. It. Here. But the Verge reports that AT&T LTE might make it worth the wait.

According to those infamous "people familiar with the matter," one reason Nokia's holding off on releasing the Lumia 800 in the US is that they want to make sure they can splash down with full LTE goodness. And for that, they need to either wait for Tango—the next Windows Phone release—or for a Mango update that supports the super-speedy network. As with everything else, the waiting is the hardest part; but hopefully that wait pays off with a handset as fast as it is fine. [The Verge]
