Seminal tech nerd magazine Wired was one of the first to jump onto the iPad magazine train. You probably subscribed anyway, but the iPad version is pretty great. Now the very first issue, from back in January 1993, is available for free on the iPad. The highlight is probably a 12,000-word oral history of the magazine’s inception, which is absolutely worth the price of admission (which is, you know, totally free). [Wired via Laughing Squid]
