Listings on Samsung and Amazon sites suggest that Google’s new Samsung Chromebook will be available as a 3G model for $330—which will include a monthly data allowance for two years.

The new Wi-Fi-only Chromebook comes in at $250, which is great value. Now it appears that an $80 supplement will secure 3G connectivity, along with up to 100MB of free data per month from Verizon. Otherwise it all looks the same.

So, if you’re out and about a lot of the time, $80 extra sounds like it might be worth it. [Amazon and Samsung via Verge]
