Look around any gathering involving kids and, these days, it’s likely that there are plenty of tablets floating around, too. But have you ever seen kids hunched over an e-reader in the same way?
Beth Callaghan raises this great point on Apartment Therapy. Maybe tablets are to e-readers as comic books are to books? Or maybe kids or surreptitiously reading the classics on their iPad?
Certainly, there’ s a push to use tablets in schools, but rarely do we hear of e-readers being used in a similar way, despite the fact that they’re more affordable and, perhaps, more well-suited to learning. Who knows? Do you? Let’s try and get to the bottom of this.
