You can buy a Lego set for all sorts of things from all sorts of universes, and while they’re all very good, the Star Wars ones always feel like they get the most love. If you’re looking to treat the Star Wars fan in your life to something a bit special, then going for a Lego set is a great shout, especially as there are so very many of them, and you can often get them with hefty discounts.
If this all has you ready to set sail into space and enjoy the wonders of the universe then we’ve got good news, because we’ve found another set on sale today. The Lego Star Wars A New Hope Tantive IV Set is usually priced at $80, but thanks to a deal on right now, is down to $56 instead. That’s an amazing discount, and that means it’s probably not going to last for very long.
A Classic Ship
This set is a more medium one in terms of size, sitting at 654 pieces. A lot of these tend to go a lot closer to 1,000 pieces in size, so you can expect a slightly faster build than those. That still means you’re going to be able to spend a couple of hours putting it together though, and if you share that experience with someone, then it’s a great way to test if your relationship is built to last or not, and that’s always a good way to do things. Of course, building it is only half of the fun, what you end up building is always an important thing to consider.
While not as popular as some of the other spaceships, the Tantive IV still played an integral role in A New Hope, one of the most-beloved films around. The model has an incredible amount of detail on it, and has 11 engines, turbolasers, and all sorts of other details as well. You can then display it on its little stand, complete with a little plaque to show off 25 years of Star Wars .
This is an amazing model, and being able to add it to a collection while it’s on sale is a great chance. We don’t know how long the $56 price tag will last for though, so if you do want to get your hands on it, we recommend doing so soon, or you could miss out.
