12. Check Local Air Quality
You’re no doubt familiar with the satellite and traffic layers you can add on top of Google Maps, but there are other, recently added ones to check out too. One of these shows air quality, using information gathered from the Environmental Protection Agency and other sources: tap the layers icon (in the top right corner on the standard map view), then choose air quality. You can tap on any of the readings that show up on the map for more details.
