Hong Kong’s kids have the highest percentage of cellphone ownership of any country in Asia, according to a report by research company TNS. The results of the survey show that 29 percent of Hong Kong children (from ages 6 to 15) have a mobile phone, compared to 25 percent in Australia and Japan. Hong Kong also remains the number one market penetration rate, with 83 percent of its 6.8 million people owning a phone.
Maybe I’m inured to the mass injection of gadgets into our societies, but personally, I’m fine with this.
