MEDL Technology’s “The Panel” is a pretty unique device—it’s a rechargeable 13-inch monitor that can work with pretty much any major device over USB…and the specs are decent, too.
Running for 5 hours per recharge, The Panel is pretty much just 1280×800 LED-backlit monitor and a kickstand—which is fine by us—as the manufacturer claims it’s compatible with pretty much anything we could think of: PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPods, Xbox 360s, PS3s, cameras, DVD players…so long as it has the potential to interface over USB.
In fact, it looks quite a bit like the 7-inch Mimo monitors that have been all the rage, but instead of a touchscreen, you just get a ton of real estate and battery power. [medltech]
