A first-look at Hitachi’s new color-display P300 cellphone that runs on Sprint PCS’s new high-speed Vision network. What’s really interesting about the P300 is that it has an optical sensor so that the phone can tell when it’s hidden away in a pocket or a bag, and automatically ring just a little but more loudly.
