Acer has announced three new monitors in their Prestige LCD flat-panel line, the AL 1732d, the AL 1932d, and the AL 2032wd. The first two models are fairly standard 17- and 19-inch models, with 1,280 by 1,024 pixel resolution, and a very decent 12 millisecond response time (faster is better to prevent blurry moving images), but the 20-inch AL2032wd could be pretty nice, with a 1,680 by 1,040 pixel widescreen resolution and a pretty affordable price tag. All the panels have built-in speakers, if that’s your thing, too. The prices are $330, $490, and $650, walking up the line.
