V For Vendetta writer Alan Moore and artist David Lloyd have admitted in interviews that they're tickled that the titular character's Guy Fawkes has become a protest standard. But Channel 4 went one step further and took the hirsute master to Occupy London to meet the masquerade. Alan Moore's chilled with John Constantine in real life, so I imagine he's used to this kind of thing.
When I see an item like this I always wonder how many times the conversation went something like:
"This is Alan Moore"
"Alan Moore, he created V for Vendetta?"
-"Ah man that was an awesome movie!"
Not hating on the occupy movement, just wondering.
