11) Halloween Ends
Did anyone else feel like Laurie Strode’s scene with the cherry blossom-loving cop in the supermarket went on longer than her fight with Michael Myers? Also, why was Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), previously established as a badass in Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, reduced to batting her eyelashes at Rohan Campbell’s character, who’s already unappealing even before he becomes Michael’s protégé of sorts? In hindsight, it would’ve been a much better move to make Halloween (2018) as a standalone finale, rather than a trilogy that felt as unsatisfying as it did unnecessary.
