The Bissell PowerClean FurGuard 280W Self-Standing Cordless Vacuum is an upright stick vacuum designed for households that have pets. It converts into a handheld for cleaning small spaces like your car interior and pieces of furniture. There are also bright LED lights at the front of the vacuum to help illuminate pet hair and dust that would normally be missed while walking over them. The self-standing design lets you simply set it down when you need to take a break from using it, or when you want to store it against a wall. The rechargeable battery pack can be removed from the vacuum for charging, and a wall mount is included in the package.

Head over to Amazon to get the Bissell PowerClean FurGuard 280W Self-Standing Cordless Vacuum for just $230, down from its usual price of $300. That’s a discount of $70 and 23% off.

A reliable cordless vacuum to tackle all your home’s biggest messes

Pet hair wrapping around a brush roll is what makes most vacuums annoying to own, and Bissell built the FurGuard brush roll to cut that off. It handles pet and human hair up to 16 inches long without tangling, so you’re not stopping every few weeks to cut hair off the roller with scissors. The vacuum is Pet Proven certified, which is Bissell’s own testing standard for pet messes.

The FurFinder tool is the attachment that does the upholstery work. Bissell rates it at removing up to 95% of embedded pet fur from furniture, and twice as fast as a competing cordless stick vacuum. It’s the tool you reach for on a couch cushion, a set of stairs, or the back seat of a car, where fur works its way into the fabric instead of sitting on top of it.

Runtime is up to 50 minutes in low mode and 13 minutes in turbo, and the lithium-ion battery pops out so you can charge it separately or swap in a spare. The whole vacuum weighs 7.3 pounds, which is light enough to carry up a staircase without switching hands. Self-standing means it charges upright in a corner instead of needing a dock bolted to a wall, though the wall mount is there if you want it.

A HEPA Sealed Allergen System traps dust and dander inside the vacuum rather than blowing it back out into the room. That matters more with pets in the house, since dander is what triggers most allergy symptoms. An integrated crevice tool pulls out of the body for corners and baseboards, and the FurFinder headlights work on the handheld too.

The Bissell PowerClean FurGuard 280W Self-Standing Cordless Vacuum is selling for $230, down from $300. You get the vacuum, the FurFinder upholstery tool, the crevice tool, the removable battery, and the wall mount. If you’ve got a dog or a cat and you’re tired of cutting hair off a brush roll every month, this is built specifically around that problem.
