The Amazon Fire TV 50” 4 Series has all the features you need in an HDTV. You get a 4K UHD screen (4x the resolution of 1080p), HDR10+, Dolby Audio, and Fire TV in a single device. It offers a high-quality viewing experience, access to your favorite applications, voice command capability, and enough ports to hook up all your consoles, A/V receivers, and other external devices. The screen size also provides adequate room presence but doesn’t overwhelm like larger sets. Plus, even when the TV is off, Ambient Experience adds another level by turning the screen into a gallery for displaying photographs or artwork, rather than leaving a blank black wall.

Amazon now offers the Amazon Fire TV 50” 4 Series for $240, down from the standard price of $400. This is a savings of $160, or 40%.

A sizable TV with built-in streaming options, great sound, and a crystal clear image

This TV uses a 4K UHD panel and HDR10+ to deliver impressive visual capabilities. While UHD resolution maintains crisp images for films, sports, and streaming programs on a 50-inch screen, HDR10+ improves brightness in bright areas and overall image contrast in scenes that require greater dynamic range. Dolby Audio completes this offering on the sound front, giving your content depth that wouldn’t be possible with TV speakers alone.

The FireTV interface centralizes apps, live TV offerings, and recommendations into a single home screen. According to Amazon, Fire TV offers access to more than 1.8 million movies and TV episodes, including over 400,000 free ad-supported episodes through various free and paid services. The Alexa Voice Remote lets you navigate with voice commands to find shows, launch apps, manage smart home functions, or ask basic questions without browsing menus.

FireTV’s new quad-core processor and Wi-Fi 6 enable faster app launches and screen switching. Built-in Omnisense sensors automatically turn on the TV when you enter the room and restore your last view or Ambiance display. AirPlay is also available, enabling you to stream compatible content directly from another device to the TV without additional hardware.

There are four HDMI ports for connecting a soundbar, a video game console, or another playback device. Additionally, Amazon lists support for both Amazon Luna and Xbox Game Pass streaming services that don’t require a gaming console. Currently priced at $240 and normally priced at $400, the Amazon Fire TV 50” 4 Series provides a 4K screen, HDR10+, Dolby Audio, Fire TV streaming service, Wi-Fi 6, AirPlay, and enough HDMI ports to handle all your entertainment needs in one place.
