The Reolink Duo 3 PoE is a 16MP outdoor security camera with two 4K image sensors stitched into a single 180-degree panoramic view, designed to replace two single-lens cameras with one mounting point. The camera runs on Power over Ethernet, with a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable handling both power and network data. Smart Detection sorts movement into person, vehicle, and animal categories. The Duo 3 PoE also has an IP67 weatherproof rating for outdoor installations in rain, snow, or sun.

The REOLINK Duo 3 PoE 16MP UHD Dual-Lens PoE Security Camera is currently $120 on Amazon, down from its $200 list price for a 40% discount.

A dual-lens 4K security camera to improve home surveillance

The Duo 3 PoE uses two 4K image sensors mounted side by side, with a dual-image stitching algorithm merging the feeds into a 180-degree panoramic view at 16MP total resolution (7680 x 2160). The combined image keeps a 4-core SoC working on the stitching in real time, so there’s no visible seam between the two halves of the field of view. Plus, the panoramic format lets one Duo 3 PoE monitor your full backyard, driveway, or warehouse loading area instead of needing two cameras for the same area.

The F1.6 aperture and 1/2.7″ CMOS sensor pair with 6 infrared LED lights for night vision up to 100 feet. Built-in spotlights add color night vision when motion triggers the lights, useful for catching faces, license plates, or vehicle colors on your property in low-light areas. Smart Detection also separates real movement (people, vehicles, animals) from background noise like leaves blowing or rain falling, which cuts down on the false-alert flood that older motion detection cameras generate.

Power over Ethernet runs the Duo 3 PoE on a single cable, eliminating the need for a separate power outlet at your install location. The DC adapter is not included in the box, since the camera is built around PoE switches, injectors, or a Reolink NVR. Storage runs to a microSD card up to 512GB, a Reolink NVR, or an FTP server, with H.265 compression keeping file sizes manageable. The Reolink App handles live view, alerts, and playback without a monthly subscription fee.

Motion Track is one of the more useful features for reviewing footage after an event happened. The camera summarizes 15 seconds of motion activity into a single still image, showing the path of a person, vehicle, or animal across the frame. This means you can scan through hours of detected motion in a few minutes of scrolling rather than watching every clip in real time. The Duo 3 PoE also pairs with Google Assistant for live view on a Nest Hub or other smart display.

The Reolink Duo 3 PoE replaces two single-lens cameras at one mounting point, with the 180-degree panoramic view eliminating the gap that two separate cameras would leave between them. The deal drops the camera from $200 to $120, putting a 16MP dual-lens PoE setup in the same budget as a basic single-lens Wi-Fi camera. For monitoring large outdoor areas, driveways, backyards, or business properties, the discount makes the Duo 3 PoE a one-for-two camera swap.
