IDFuel has a short introduction to one of our favorite diodes, the LED, providing a short history and “How It Works,” as well as linking to some of the stalwart sites like LED Museum and DigiKey. What I didn’t see, though, and was hoping to, were some inexpensive LED DIY projects. Until SolarBotics sends me a reprint of the BEAM instructions I’ve lost, I’ve got all this solder here and nothing to drip it on.
