The Anker 100W Max USB-C Charger is Anker’s small three-port wall charger, and the screen on the front is what sets it apart from a plain block. It has two USB-C charging ports and one USB-A charging port along the base of the charger, and either of the two USB-C ports can provide up to 100W of power on its own. The plug is foldable and fits within the body when folded. This charger measures 2.72 by 2.17 by 1.34 inches. In addition to the charger, you will receive a 4.9-foot USB-C to USB-C cable. Anker provides this product with an 18-month warranty.

Head over to Amazon to get the Anker 100W Max USB-C Charger for just $50, down from its usual price of $70. That’s a $20 discount and 29% off.

A powerful charger that can juice your devices back up to 100% in no time

The gallium nitride used in this charger is what allows something this compact to produce 100W, since GaN transistors dissipate heat better than the silicon parts they replace and can be placed closer together without the charger overheating. According to Anker, it maintains peak output for roughly double the time an average 100W charger manages before power starts dropping off. The overall dimensions are 30% smaller than the prior version, and the prongs retract into the main body so nothing catches on other items in your bag.

The display is the unusual part. Most wall chargers give you a small LED that tells you power is on and nothing else. This one shows live readouts for wattage, voltage, and temperature, along with which port is doing what, and there is touch control for cycling through the screens. It also tracks total hours of use over the life of the charger.

Either of the USB-C ports will handle the entire 100W on its own, which covers a MacBook Pro or any other laptop that charges over USB-C at top speed. The USB-A port provides a maximum of 33W, which is enough for a phone, a tablet, or an older device that still uses a rectangular plug.

Low-Current Mode is available for small electronics. When an attached device draws less than 5W for a whole minute, the charger switches USB-C2 or USB-A to a 95W plus 5W split.

Everything needed for operation comes in the box, including the cable, so the Anker 100W Max USB-C Charger works from the moment it arrives at your door. It sells for $50 right now as opposed to its usual $70, and it comes in two colors, silver and dark gray. Keep in mind that this is a wall charger rather than a battery, so it needs an outlet to do anything.
