The Anker Prime 67W charger is more than useful, it's necessary.

The Anker Prime 67W is a wall charger that replaces a stack of older single-device bricks with a single unit. Two USB-C ports and one USB-A port support a laptop, phone, tablet, or any combination simultaneously, with a total of 67 watts of output. The wall prongs fold flat against the body for travel, and the whole charger is about the size of a deck of cards. Cables are not included, so plan to use the ones that came with your existing devices.

The Anker USB Charger Block is currently $35 on Amazon, down from its $50 list price for a 30% discount.

Cable clutter is the main thing this charger solves. A typical home office desk has a charger for the laptop, another for the phone, sometimes a third for a tablet, and a fourth for the wireless earbuds you used today. Each one needs an outlet, and most desk power strips don’t have enough plugs to handle all of them at once. The Anker Prime 67W consolidates the laptop, phone, and tablet chargers into a single brick on a single outlet.

Travel is where the foldable prong design earns its keep. Most wall chargers have fixed prongs that snag on the inside of your backpack or scratch other items in your packing cube. The Anker Prime 67W has prongs that fold flat against the body, leaving a small cube that slides into the corner of a suitcase without taking up the space of a paperback. The 100-240V input range also handles outlets in Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world with a basic plug adapter.

Power output adjusts to whatever combination of devices you have plugged in. A single device on the top USB-C port draws the full 67 watts, which is enough to charge a 13-inch MacBook at full speed. With two USB-C devices plugged in, the split runs 45 watts on the top port and 20 watts on the second. All three ports occupied, drop the top port to 40 watts and divide the other two at 12 watts each.

The Prime 67W supports USB Power Delivery, which is the standard most of the phones and laptops you already own use. It also supports Samsung’s PPS protocol for Super Fast Charging on Galaxy S22 and newer phones. ActiveShield 2.0 is Anker’s safety system that monitors charger temperature and throttles power output if the brick starts to overheat during a long session. A 24-month warranty also backs the hardware against manufacturing defects.

The Anker Prime 67W consolidates three charging bricks into one body the size of a deck of cards. At $35, down from $50, it puts a multi-device GaN charger in the same budget as a basic single-port wall plug. For desks with a tangle of cables, travelers tired of stuffing three bricks into a suitcase, or anyone with a phone, tablet, and laptop running through the same routine every night, the discount makes this an easy add.
